Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau are three popular brands of botulinum toxin type A used for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes, primarily for reducing wrinkles and fine lines.* If you have used one of these products before, you can expect to use approximately the same number of units of other types.  We specifically chose these three brands based on their dilutions and results.

 

Common Characteristics

1. Botox (OnabotulinumtoxinA)

2. Xeomin (IncobotulinumtoxinA)

• Manufacturer: Merz Pharmaceuticals

• Protein Structure: Free from complexing proteins, often marketed as "naked" botulinum toxin. 

• Longevity: Effects last around 3-4 months, similar to Botox.

• Clinical Use: Often chosen for patients who may have developed resistance to Botox.

3. Jeuveau (PrabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs)

• Manufacturer: Evolus

• Protein Structure: Similar to Botox, with accessory proteins.

• Longevity: Effects are comparable to Botox, lasting around 3-4 months.
